Steven 2022

Ah, New Year’s Eve, the day we all love to hate. The other 364 days of the year, we all sit around dreading, agreeing that NYE is overrated – a guaranteed letdown. Then as the 31st comes around, without a thought, we dust off our sequin dresses, put the champagne on ice and prepare the fireworks.

Here at Steven, we’re excited for the new year and what’s to come, but not without a few reflections on the year that has been. We wanted to take this opportunity to look back at everything we have shared this past year. So without further ado, here is our Steven 2022 wrapped.

1 Steven Mastercard - We released the first ever card made for shared expenses.

5 limited expenses - Some things don’t work out the way we plan and charging for expenses was one of those things. We are grateful for your feedback during this time and our New Year’s resolution for 2023 is to never charge for expense creation again!

438 new shareholders - At the beginning of the summer we gave the opportunity to our community to take part in Steven’s mission via a crowdfunding campaign and welcomed 438 new Steven shareholders.

We also found some pretty cool stats about you users:

102 countries - The amount of countries where we have active Steven-users 🌍

243 134 - That’s how many times you’ve settled with Steven in 2022.

221 437 Steven-users - Hello all new users, we’re so happy you’re here!

1 660 554 expenses shared  - We broke a lot of records this year and almost doubled the amount of expenses shared from last year.

The common denominator for everything we do here at Steven is sharing. Doing things we love with the people we love is what it’s all about and our hope is that by using our service you can focus on what truly matters in your relationships.

We’re so happy that you have chosen to share this past year with us, and hope that you will stick around for what’s to come in 2023. So from all of us at Steven, Happy New Year! ✨
